Science Olympiad Competition

The Science Olympiad team competed in their regional event on Saturday in Clearwater and were amazing. All students represented Lake Wales very well.

Now to the best part. The kids competed in 21 out of the 23 events and won 7 medals. We won’t know our overall standing until later this week and this will determine whether we attend the state tournament at UCF in March.

    Cassandra Wolf chosen for Silver Garland Award

    Cassandra Wolf was chosen for the Performing Arts category of the Silver Garland Awards, sponsored by the Lakeland Ledger. Her efforts included working with the Lake Wales Little Theatre over the past 12 years. In that time she joined the board of directors and implemented a drama club that began a free acting school for teens to gain communication and leadership skills. Lake Wales High School is very proud of Ms. Wolf.
