County FFA Livestock Judging Contest

Yesterday the Lake Wales Senior FFA chapter competed in the Polk County FFA Crooked Lake Livestock Judging Contest. We received 2nd place out of all the high schools in Polk County! Also, Steven Powell was the number one individual in the entire contest!
Second Place Team Members:

    Cassandra Wolf chosen for Silver Garland Award

    Cassandra Wolf was chosen for the Performing Arts category of the Silver Garland Awards, sponsored by the Lakeland Ledger. Her efforts included working with the Lake Wales Little Theatre over the past 12 years. In that time she joined the board of directors and implemented a drama club that began a free acting school for teens to gain communication and leadership skills. Lake Wales High School is very proud of Ms. Wolf.
